Students with the last name starting with letter (M-Z) minus accommodated students: You will receive an email from another proctor.

How can I be prepared for the exam?

Preferred NBME Browser: Google Chrome

As we discussed in the didactic reminders being prepared includes the following:

• Being on time (Out of respect of each other, you should be on zoom 5 minutes before the start time)
• Clearing your testing area. (You should only have scrap paper, pen/pencil, testing device and cell phone)
  • This exam permits no food/drinks while taking the exam unless you have an accommodation from the college.
  • Make sure you provided a cell phone for the exam(this information should have been provided on your onboarding forms before we started the rotation but, if you listed a google or app number you should provide your proctor a new number.
  • Restart your computer before the exam. (Do this either the night before or 2 hours before your exam)
  • No hoodies, hats, and/or scarves are permitted during the exam. (If you wear religious head coverings this is the exception to the rule)
  • Adding a sign to your room/door if you live in crowded household to prevent interruptions.
  • Inform family members that you are testing to avoid odd interactions on camera.
  • Check your internet connection and keep laptops/notebook computers plugged in for the exam.
• Remove all filters.

We will discuss this during the thursday reminders along with some NBME rules/policies that we will go over on exam day.
